Amanda's Schedule Maker

Here is my schedule: Spring 2003. Unlike past semesters, this one was automatically generated using this program: schedule.exe.

The program is easy to use. All you have to do is save your SOLAR receipt (the one that gets emailed to you) as plain text. (If it looks normal in Notepad, you are good to go.) Put it in the same folder as schedule.exe. Then run the program. You will be prompted for the name of an output file -- name it whatever you want, but with a .htm or .html extension. Then you'll be prompted for the name of the SOLAR receipt. Give it that name, including the extension (.txt or whatever). Next, it'll ask you for a title for your schedule; this would be something like "Amanda's Spring Schedule". Once it has this information, it starts making your schedule. It will display the SOLAR names for the courses (such as "DIGITAL SYSTEMS DES" for EECS 315); you can rename them ("Digital Systems" for example) or just hit enter and stick with the SOLAR name. It will tell you when it's done. Then, look for your output file; it'll be in the folder with schedule.exe and your SOLAR receipt file.

The colors are randomly generated. If you don't like them, run the program again.

There is also a version where you can enter everything by hand, but I don't know why you'd want to, so I didn't post that one.
