I already own this black suit. It fits all right, looks fine, and is decently comfortable.
This Anne Klein suit is a medium grey color and cost about $200 at Loehmann's ($500 retail). I don't love the way it fits; I feel like I'm dressing up in my dad's clothes. It's wool, unlined.
This one's from Ann Taylor. Dark grey, subtle grey and tan pinstripes. I love it. It's lined wool, very comfortable, fits well, feels good. I got both pants and skirt, for a total of $450.
Finally, this outfit is from Express. I already have the pants (and appropriate shoes), and the jacket was about $130. I love the pants, but I had to go down a size in the jacket so the arms and shoulders wouldn't be huge, and I feel like it's too snug in the torso.
Note that the top I have on is just a T-shirt; I'll probably end up wearing a pink shell and a scarf.
